Taylor Wells is a queer artist currently residing in Birmingham, UK.  They are a self-identifying non-binary trans person, who’s life informs a strong percentage of their work. Political artist.

Activist through existing.

Living unapologetically as yourself.

Breaking down those boundaries,

Norms constructed by society,

Those double standards and binaries.

Celebrate those who

Let people just exist

Respectfully

Support each other

Those people raising people up

Instead of tearing each other down

Those helping and collaborating

Those other creative minds

Seeing

We are not in competition with each other

But that we are in competition with the darkness

That we must not let win.

Keep believing

In education and the arts

In freedom of speech

Health care, and human rights.

Keep believing

In respect and common decency

In care

In everyday magic

We learn,

We change,

We continue.
